Standalone custom 3D candle design — $200

A separate option: we design the candle and deliver the STL file for your own resin 3D printer. No silicone mold required.

Important: the silicone mold, including the first one, is charged separately. The development fee covers the labor and workflow above — it does not include a free mold unit.

Molds are typically $45–$65 per mold, depending on how much silicone the design needs. The final mold price is confirmed after your 3D design is approved.

Custom 3D Candle Design

We create the 3D model from your idea, sketch, or reference image, with wax flow and easy demolding in mind. You review and approve the design before we print the master model. Standalone custom 3D candle design is $200 and delivers candle STL files for your own resin printer.

Silicone Mold Making

Master printing, finishing, mold housing and fixtures, silicone mold production, and testing — all in house. Custom silicone molds are made in the USA, priced separately from development, typically $45–$65 per mold depending on silicone volume.

Custom Candle Production & Shipping

We can pour finished candles from your mold in your choice of colors and scents, using soy wax or white beeswax and phthalate-free fragrance oils from U.S. suppliers. Candles can ship to one address or directly to your customers.

Custom Candle Mold FAQs

What file format do you accept for 3D printing?: We accept STL files.
Do you require payment upfront?: Yes, we require 100% payment upfront before work begins. Each custom project involves at least three team members, so we do not offer partial payments or installment plans.
What if I only have an idea and no 3D file?: We can create a custom 3D design for you, starting from your idea, sketch, or reference images.
Can any 3D file be printed, including AI-generated models?: Not every file is ready for printing. AI-generated models may look good on screen but contain broken faces or other defects that prevent successful printing. We review your file and, if needed, repair it or recreate the model from scratch. Any additional costs are discussed before work begins.
Are design revisions included?: Yes. Designs we create from scratch include up to three revisions within the original agreed concept. A different subject or a new design direction is quoted separately.
Will I receive the printed master model?: The printed master model and mold-making fixtures are not included in your order. Purchasing them separately may be possible and is reviewed individually, as some incorporate proprietary engineering features.
Who owns the custom design?: You own the rights to your custom candle design and its 3D model. We will not use your model to make molds for another customer. Our proprietary mold-making systems and engineering features remain ours.
Will you share my project on social media?: We’d love to feature your custom mold or finished candle on our Instagram or TikTok, but we’ll only do so with your permission.
Do you make custom wax melt molds?: Yes! We can create custom silicone wax melt molds in any design you have in mind.
Do you make custom soap molds?: Yes, we can make custom soap molds using non-food-grade silicone. We don’t currently work with food-grade silicone, but we plan to introduce it next year.
How long does it take to make a custom silicone mold?: Timing depends on the complexity of your design and whether you already have a 3D file. Projects that require us to create a 3D model typically take 2–3 weeks.
What waxes and fragrance oils do you use?: We use premium, phthalate-free fragrance oils from U.S. suppliers that comply with IFRA Standards for candle use. Our wax options are soy wax and white beeswax. Beeswax candles are priced higher than soy wax candles.
Will I approve the 3D design before printing?: Yes. You’ll review and approve your 3D design before we print the master model.
Can I see a candle sample before ordering a full batch?: Yes. Once your mold development is paid for and your mold is completed, we can provide photos and videos of a sample candle before proceeding with a bulk candle order. We can also ship one physical sample; shipping is at your expense.
Can I reorder molds or candles without paying the development fee again?: Yes! Additional molds or candles using the same approved design do not require another development fee. You’ll pay only for the molds or candles you order, plus any applicable shipping. Additional molds are priced like comparable molds in our regular collection.
Do you offer custom packaging and branding?: Our standard service includes protective packaging to help your candles arrive safely. Custom packaging design is not included. For an additional fee, we can design and arrange U.S. production of cards, stickers, and custom packaging. We do not source these items from China.
Can I receive the STL file for my custom design?: Yes. Let us know if you’d like your STL file, and we’ll send it after your silicone mold has been completed. The file is provided as part of the completed mold project, not as a separate 3D design service. We do not release it before mold completion or offer a refund for the mold-making portion if you decide to stop after the design stage.This timing applies to full mold projects. Standalone 3D design orders include the STL file without mold production.
Can I order a custom 3D candle design without a silicone mold?: Yes! We specialize in designing candles with wax flow and easy demolding in mind. Our standalone 3D design service costs $200 and includes an STL file you can print on your own resin 3D printer.
